Bobrisky was said to be dark-skinned before he chose to be a cross-dresser and decided to bleach his skin. Bobrisky, by virtue of his character introduced into the Nigerian society a set of ethics and morals which are not aligned with the Nigerian norm.

Bobrisky has officially started nollywood career as a female.
Watch out for him , Sorry , watch out for shim.

He has been received with mixed feelings as he has a fair number of fans and critics alike. On a notable occasion, a Nigerian presidential aide for reasons best known to him walked out on sight of Bobrisky.

The monarch was speaking in reaction to the recent decision of the Rwandan government banning bleaching products.

“Recently, the government of Rwanda pronounced ban on skin bleaching products on the claim that the materials are harmful to human body.”

In 2018, a Nigerian dermatologist, Olayinka Adeyemi said using bleaching cream could lead to skin cancer, hypertension, and diabetics among other diseases.

But the Osun monarch believes that individuals should be left to handle the consequences of using cosmetic products.

“Appearance is a personal interest. Even, the white people do a process called tanning to enhance their looks, applying products to look brown just as black men in Africa apply bleaching products to look white.

“Such a decision of skin treatment is a personal decision of which restriction is an affront on personal right. And denial can never stand the test of time in a developed nation.

“Contact lens is equally body enhancement product. Must we ban contact lens because it will give our eyes colour? The world is digital.

“Body treatment is a personal decision. As an identity, we need not shun the grace of our era. Go for the best products while treating your body.

Recalled early this year, Rwanda started enforcing its nationwide ban on skin bleaching products, where whitening creams and soaps are being removed from shelves nationwide, just two months after the government announced that it was banning them from being sold.

It is believed that President Paul Kagame instigated the crackdown when he condemned the use of the products in November 2018, urging Rwanda’s ministry of health to take action.

“Quite unhealthy among other things. Includes use of prohibited chemicals,” the president told a Twitter user who voiced their concerns over the use of such creams. “MoH and RNP need to reign this in very quickly.”
